The HVAC and geothermal company is proud to volunteer time and supplies to this community initiative.

Plano, TX (PRWEB) June 30, 2013

With the state of Texas already battling the summer heat, Total Air & Heat is happy to be a part of “Beat the Heat.” The program is operated by Community Services Foundation and helps to repair air conditioning and window units on the homes of homeowners in need.

Total Air & Heat supplies several window units and installation each year they participate. They will also perform service calls to repair air conditioning systems constantly throughout the summer. They offer their time and supplies as a way to give back to the community they serve.

The “Beat the Heat” program was started in 2000 in response to unbearable Texas heat and preventable heat-related deaths. Repair to existing cooling equipment, new window air conditioning units, safety awareness information and an improved quality of life are all benefits of the program. The work and equipment supplied by the “Beat the Heat” program focuses on elderly, disabled or low income households.

About the Company:

Total Air & Heat employs highly skilled technicians, who have attended trade schools to learn “proper” installation and repair techniques. In addition, the technicians are required to attend a minimum of two manufacturers’ training schools each year, thus keeping their skills on the leading edge of technology. Their many services include: air conditioning repair, air conditioning service, furnace repair, heating repair and heating service throughout the North Dallas area.

In 1957 Fred Lauten proudly founded Total Air & Heat Co. to provide top-quality air conditioning and heating service to local homes and businesses. The company is a rapidly growing multimillion dollar air conditioning contractor business. In 1999 Fred retired, and his son Steve has taken this family-owned company into the new millennium with style. Please visit their website http://www.totalair.com for more information.
