There’s a reasonably quiet road on the edge of town, a road where I regularly go for walks, a road that parts the landscape with idyllic lush green paddocks and deep blue undulating hills. Half way along this peaceful thoroughfare, a three hundred meter stretch of Eucalypts, obviously lovingly and methodically preserved, throw welcoming shade across my path as I approach, providing a grateful respite from the heat on warmer days.
