More heat and storms are forecast for Central Florida.

"We're tracking more afternoon storms for the bus stop as Seminole County heads back to school on Monday," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.

Sumter County returned to school last week.

"Some moderate rain will impact Sumter County for the morning and afternoon hours," Bridges said.

Rain chances increase to 50 percent after 2 p.m.

"Heavy rain and lightning will be the greatest concern on Monday afternoon," Bridges said.

Before the rain comes, temperatures will heat into the mid-90s, with the heat index hitting 105 degrees.

High temperatures will be in the mid-90s through the weekend.

Rain chances will be at 40 percent Tuesday through Thursday and 50 percent on Friday. Reported by Click Orlando 5 hours ago.
