A Palo Alto company is teaming up with Airbnb to reduce energy usage in San Francisco and other cities. Officials at Google-owned Nest announced they are now providing their Learning Thermostats to select Airbnb hosts across the United States. Nest representatives said the thermostats are easy to program and use, so Airbnb hosts don't have to worry about guests forgetting to turn off the heat.
