Sunday’s forecast calls for more clouds than sun, but the heat will linger. The National Weather Service predicts highs near 90 degrees, with sunbreaks in the morning and isolated showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Winds continue out of the Southwest at 7 to 10 mph. Overnight lows will be in the mid-70s. The likelihood of rain increases to 40 percent Sunday night and continues into Labor Day.
