Monday weather: Summer-like heat returns this week, temperatures in the 80s

Back to the heat and humidity… After a nice break from the hot and humid conditions, it’s back to summer-time this week. Today will be very close to average with highs in the low 80s. Expect a mix of clouds with isolated showers possible. Highs will climb into the upper 80s to near 90 for midweek. A front will move in late Thursday/Friday, increasing our rain chances but also bringing in a big temperature drop for the weekend.
