A.F.E. Stage 2 Intake System is available in three different filter materials. It is engineered for increased air flow volumes improving power and fuel mileage.

2013 and 2014 Ram diesel trucks with the 6.7L Cummins diesel engine can now be upgraded with an A.F.E. (Advanced Flow Engineering) Magnum Force Stage 2 Cold Air Intake System that outflows the original factory intake by 113%.
The AFE Ram diesel truck intake uses a powder-coated heat shield with a one piece intake tube. The heat shield is designed to bolt directly to the bottom half of the stock air box, incorporating the factory RAM active air. A huge inverted-cone 360 degree radial flow air filter provides maximum flow.
A.F.E. intakes are available in one of three different unique filter materials allowing for specific driving conditions and owner preferences. The top-of-the-line Pro Guard 7 filter is built from 7 layers of oiled cotton and synthetic media and offers diesel owners the best engine protection money can buy with a 99.7% filtration efficiency rating. The AFE Pro 5 R filter media has 5 layers of oiled cotton gauze. It has a filtration efficiency rating in the high 98 percent range. The Pro 5 R is AFE's highest flowing filter and is ideal when the largest gains in horsepower and torque are required. Diesel owners who want the easiest filter servicing prefer the AFE Pro Dry S filter, an oil free two layer synthetic media with a 99.2% filtration efficiency. The Pro Dry S is also ideal for those concerned with over-oiling their filters and causing issues with their Mass Airflow Sensors.
Testing of the intake system reveals flows of 456 CFM versus the stock Ram diesel truck intake flow rate of 214 CFM. All necessary parts for a complete product installation come with this kit, and complete detailed installation instructions include large color photos.
