![Thermal images of Cheltenham buildings show heat loss]()
These ethereal images make some of Cheltenham's most familiar buildings look like something from the twilight zone. In fact, they are a heat map taken with a thermal imaging camera, on a cold morning, showing the heat escaping from the buildings. And the preponderance of red, indicating radiating heat, shows just how much windows and plate glass doors allow warm air to escape. The pictures were taken by Gloucestershire-based businessman Steve Perris. He said: "I took them at 6am last week....
